Since my baby was born, she stayed in the hospital after being diagnosed with congenital heart disease. Throughout her recovery, she had different surgeries and procedures. My husband and I took turns staying with her every day in the hospital, and we both weren’t able to work as much as we wanted because we wanted to be there for her and our other two kids. We were barely making it to support our house expenses and finished all our savings at the beginning since we didn’t work much when she was first born. We didn’t think she would be in the hospital for long. Sadly, on January 22, she had an event that led to her needing CPR and being put on ECMO and dialysis. During that time, she fought to live, but she got a lung hemorrhage and her kidneys and organs became very sick. Sadly, on February 21, 2026, she passed away in my arms.
I will use the funds to cover the rest of her medical bills and funeral expenses. I honestly wasn’t prepared for all this. From the bottom of my heart, I want to thank everyone for their generous donation. In these trying times, anything—even prayers—means the world to me and my family.
