Our family is asking for help during a heartbreaking and unexpected time. My aunt recently lost her partner suddenly, and the loss has been devastating. Along with the emotional shock and grief, she has been left facing the immediate financial responsibilities they once shared together.

With rent and utilities due on the first of the month and a large amount of debt now falling on her shoulders, she is being forced to face overwhelming financial pressure at the very moment she should be allowed the time and space to grieve. Instead of being able to process this loss and begin healing, she is worrying about how to keep the lights on and maintain a roof over her head.

No one should have to navigate the sudden loss of a loved one while also fearing financial instability. We are hoping to raise funds to help cover rent, utilities, and essential living expenses so she can focus on what truly matters right now: mourning her partner, taking care of herself, and beginning to rebuild after this loss.
