Honoring the Life of Muthoni Nduthu

It is with profound sorrow that we share the tragic loss of our beloved Registered Nurse, Muthoni Nduthu (52), who lost her life in a devastating explosion at Bristol Health & Rehab Center, formerly known as Silver Lake Nursing Home.

Muthoni was a compassionate and dedicated healthcare professional who devoted her life to caring for others. Her kindness, professionalism, and selfless service touched countless lives. Her sudden passing has left her family, friends, colleagues, and the community in deep shock and heartbreak.

The tragic incident occurred while PECO Energy utility crews were on site responding to reports of a strong gas odor inside the facility. Moments later, a powerful explosion tore through part of the building, resulting in this devastating loss.

Muthoni leaves behind her loving husband, her three sons, and a cherished granddaughter, who now face an unimaginable loss. As the family grieves, they are also confronted with unexpected funeral and memorial expenses during this incredibly difficult time.
