Hello friends and family,

It has been very hard for us to accept the fact that we are in need of financial help regarding our beloved, 2 year old, Murphy girl. Last week, we had to take her to the emergency vet for a quickly growing abscess on her neck. We had previously taken her in twice to her normal vet regarding it, and for two weeks, nothing they did helped her. When we had to take her to the ER, she was becoming very sick and lethargic, and we learned she was in the beginning stages of sepsis.

She was CT’d and put under to have a drain inserted, which ultimately failed, resulting in another surgery to remove the drain and open up the wound. She had to stay several nights in the hospital, which very quickly resulted in hefty emergency medical bills. Being a single-income family, having to choose between getting her help and putting ourselves in a huge financial bind has been straining emotionally and mentally. If you could donate anything to help us, we would be so beyond grateful. She currently has a tie-over bandage sewn to her neck, which requires daily sedation for bandage changes, costing hundreds of dollars each time they need to change it.
