Support for Ms. Sofi's Kodály Certification

Hi friends! As you may already know, I had the amazing opportunity to learn from the best of the best at Kodály Level 1 last summer. I'm really looking forward to coming back to Norman for Level 2 next month, but I've run into some financial challenges that are making it difficult to find the funds for the workshop. OU offers some scholarships to partially cover the cost of the workshop, but I don't know if I have been awarded one yet. Additionally, my last day of school in Oregon is June 14th and the workshop begins on June 17th, so I will have to fly from Portland to Oklahoma.

Continuing my education is something that has always been important to me, but especially now as I transition into my third year of teaching. This certification program is invaluable to my skills as an educator and would help me in my goal to provide quality music education to all of my students. Receiving it from the master teachers who work tirelessly to give us the best experience at OU, alongside my cohort I met at Level 1, would make it that much more meaningful.
