Mr. Brian Wentworth has been a pillar of Scituate High School, inspiring countless students and colleagues with his dedication, kindness, and passion for teaching. Now, Mr. Wentworth is facing one of the toughest challenges of his life: a diagnosis of lung cancer (non-small cell adenocarcinoma of the lung, for the science nerds he loves). As he bravely fights this illness, our community has a chance to rally around him and show just how much he means to us all.

While Mr. Wentworth's insurance is covering his medical needs, anyone who has faced a major illness knows there are many hidden costs that can quickly add up. From travel to and from appointments, to meals on the go, and even the extra cost of cleaning supplies to keep his home safe and healthy—these are the everyday expenses that can become overwhelming for the Wentworth family. Our goal is to help ease that burden so Mr. Wentworth can focus on healing and spending time with his wife Jennifer and their daughter and son.
