Hello everyone,

This is Mrs. Persey, and it is with a very heavy heart that I share the sudden passing of my husband, Mr. Persey, who was a Math teacher for 4 years at Cuba Middle School. He always wanted students to excel in Math. He tragically lost his life to a heart attack. He was only 42 years old and left behind our two young children, aged 4 and 10, who adored their dad deeply.

We are devastated and still trying to process this loss. My husband was on a work visa in the United States. Because of this, I am working through the difficult and expensive process of taking his body back home to India so his parents and family can perform final rituals.

The cost of transportation of his body, travel expenses for immediate family, funeral arrangements, and caring for our children during this time is overwhelming for me, as I am now handling everything alone. I humbly request your support, and any contributions, no matter the size, will make a meaningful difference and are deeply appreciated. This will help us to take him home and give his family and friends a chance to say final goodbyes.
