Support for Mr Olamilekan Oyefuga to fight cancer

Update: We started this Go Fund Me page originally to help one of our dear brother, who was diagnosed with a serious form of cancer with metastasis. It is with great sadness we wanted to let you know that after a long and difficult battle with cancer, our dear friend Mr Olamilekan passed away on Thursday April 10th, peacefully with his wife by his side.

We wish to continue to raise money to help support his family to organize memorable funeral. Oyefuga family is so grateful for all of the support that so many people have shown and we all appreciate any further contributions to help make his final wish come true.

Hello, my name is Funmilola in conjunction with Saskatoon community, I'm fundraising for Oyefuga family to help them survive this trying period.

Mr Olamilekan Oyefuga moved to Canada 13 years ago with his family. He was thriving, well-known, and very supportive many of people and his community at large. Unfortunately, he was diagnosed of a stage IV cancer 3 months ago, was in a coma from December 2023 till January 2024, and things took a downturn for the family.

On top of the stress of the illness, his family has suffered substantial financial stress due to the upfront cost of undergoing treatment in Ontario, considering they relocated shortly before they learnt of the diagnosis. The wife is currently unemployed, needs to provide 24-hour support for her darling husband, and they need to sustain their young children.

This wonderful family needs your support as such your donations will be much appreciated.
