Our school community is mourning the loss of a truly extraordinary educator, Mr. Casey Boatman, a beloved fifth grade teacher in our Wisconsin district, who passed away after a long and courageous battle with cancer.

Throughout his illness, Casey showed the same strength, resilience, and grace that he brought into his classroom each and every day. For the past seven years, he has been a cherished member of our school family—known for his unwavering dedication to his students, his vibrant spirit in the hallways, and his deep passion for education.

Mr. Boatman didn’t just teach lessons—he built relationships, inspired confidence, and created a classroom where every child felt seen, valued, and supported. His impact reaches far beyond academics and will live on in the hearts of the many students, families, and colleagues who were lucky enough to know him.

This is an enormous loss for our community, especially for the children whose lives he shaped so profoundly.
