Celebration of Life will be Saturday May 31st, 2025 at Fat Daddy’s in Mansfield 12-6pm. Please come out to celebrate Mr. Austin and honor his son and the legacy he leaves behind
Mr. Brandon Austin tragically and suddenly had his life cut short. Mr. Austin or as we knew him “Mr. Awesome” has been loved by peers, family, friends, and most of all, the 1,000’s of students lives he has touched throughout his legendary teaching career. Mr. Austin leaves behind a legacy and a footprint that most teachers can only dream of achieving. Always charismatic and could bring joy and laughter to anyone. He was the life of a party and made learning fun and enjoyable for everyone. Even on his worst days, he would crack a smile on anyone at his own humility and expense. An icon if you ask me.
Teachers are the backbone of this country. They are tasked with essentially raising your kids in a sense and keeping them safe. They are tasked with instilling education on the next generation. A thankless, underpaid job that for the most part, always goes unnoticed.
I am starting this go fund me in hopes to help ease the burden for Mr. Austin’s children on the unexpected funeral costs and sudden loss of life. I will be in contact and make sure all funds go to where they belong.
Life is short and time is a thief. They tell you life goes by fast once you graduate. The days may seem long, but the years go by fast. Hug your loved ones tight. Would love to have any stories anyone may have about Mr. Austin in the comments or on his profile page so that his children may see and cherish the memories in this hard time. He loved his kids and all of his students, he would say that we were all his kids. He was selfless and always did what he needed to in order to make sure every kid was taken care of. This was made on a whim so please excuse how abrupt it sounds. Stephen and Riley were truly his pride and joy and he would give any excuse to talk about his children.
