I just want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for reading and extending any help or prayer for my mother. Her name is Zenaida Rivera 76 y/o and a retired grade school teacher. My mother accidentally took a hard fall and sustained a fractured femur on her right hip socket and will need to undergo a hip surgery in the Philippines. It’s been very difficult for me and my family dealing with this ordeal. Being so far away from them makes it even more challenging . There’s no such thing as Medicare, Medi-cal back home and hospitalization cost is out of pocket and you have to buy every piece of supply not provided by hospitals. I wish I can shoulder all the cost and maintenance for my mother that will probably reach up to $5k plus. I’m also providing for my father’s care who’s partially paralyzed because of a stroke. At this time of health adversity, I know that asking for help is just being human and there’s nothing to be ashamed of. Me and my family are so grateful my for your support and compassion I understand that all of us have our own problems to deal with and I apologize to be an added burden to your lives. She’s scheduled to be for surgery today. It was supposed to be about a week ago but we had to go by the surgeon’s availability . My mother has been so brave and endured so much in her life. I admire her strength and courage! How I wish I can take her pain away but I know God is watching over her. Thank you so so much for anything that you can manage. I will never forget you!!!
