Support for Mom's Medical Mystery Journey
Donation protected
Hello , My mom has always been a strong woman but in the month of december she stopped being able to eat , see and walk. I had to bring her to Denver to live with me because she wasnt able to take care of herself anymore. She was diagnosed with diabetic retinopathy and has to undergo laser eye surgeries on both eyes aswell as eye injections. They found a tumor and were abke to take it out but she still cannot eat or walk. We dont know what she has , the doctors are trying their best but they are calling her a medical mystery. The only thing she can eat are gerbers and i have to basically carry her to the bathroom. Its hard to get to all theappointments and the follow ups as i dont drive and i dont work so sometimes i cant afford to buy her the gerbers , diapers or Glucernas she needs. Not to mention that her medical only covers california so by bringing her here to CO we still need yo pay out of pocket for every appointment and all the medicines. She went to five different hospitals in california and no one figured out what is wrong with her and i had no choice but to bring her to denver. Anything donated will go straight to her medical bills and food she can digest aswell as medicine. She went from weighing 130 to 84 pounds and the pain is just getting worse. Anything helps and thankyou so much for whatever you are able to donate. Right now she is being scheduled for a nervous system test aswell as a kidney biopsy , she has had A Tube go into her intestines but nothing has been found. They were abke to surgically remive the tumor aswell as a full hysterectomy but that did nothing and she is still not better. They have already done surgery on one eye and in May 27 will be the next laser eye surgery aswell.
