2025 has been an incredibly challenging year for my mom, filled with one hardship after another. In May, she suffered a stroke and then in June she was diagnosed with a tumor in her right frontal lobe. The stroke impacted her eyesight and speech, and she now relies on a cane to walk, which unfortunately meant she could no longer work. Then, in December, my grandmother passed away.
Just when we thought things couldn’t get worse, on December 19th, my mom was involved in a freak accident that left her with 2nd and 3rd degree burns over 20% of her body, including her face, neck, chest, and arms. She had to be airlifted to the hospital and has already undergone one surgery, but she will require several more. To make matters worse, her insurance will not cover the cost of the airlift, and the skin graft surgeries are classified as cosmetic procedures, leaving her to cover most of the expenses out of pocket.
I’m raising funds to help my mom with these overwhelming and unexpected medical bills. Every contribution, no matter how small, will make a huge difference in her recovery and healing. If you are unable to donate, please consider sharing her story to spread the word. Thank you so much for your compassion and support during this incredibly difficult time for our family.
