Hi, my name is Damian, and I’m the eldest son in my family. I’m reaching out during this difficult time in need of support.

A few months ago, my mom began experiencing serious pain and other concerning symptoms. We took her to the hospital hoping for answers, but unfortunately, her concerns were dismissed and she was sent home without a proper diagnosis. As her symptoms worsened, we rushed her back to the hospital. After further testing, she was diagnosed with kidney failure and stomach cancer.

This has turned our lives upside down. I work full-time and do everything I can to support my family, but the weight of rent, bills, groceries, and now mounting medical and hospital expenses is becoming too much for me to carry alone. At this time we are not sure when my mom will be coming home, or when she will be able to get back onto her feet and start working again.

Our family has already been through one hardship after another, and this latest challenge has stretched us to the edge. We’re doing our best to stay strong, but we need help.

Any support—no matter how small—will go directly toward medical costs, living expenses, and helping us keep things afloat while we care for my mom and fight through this as a family.
