Hi everyone,

I never thought I would be in a position where I had to ask for help like this, but right now our family really needs it.

Our mom was recently hospitalized and spent 10 days on a ventilator fighting for her life. Those were some of the longest and scariest days our family has ever faced. Seeing someone you love hooked up to machines and not knowing what tomorrow will bring is something no family is ever prepared for.

Thankfully, she is still here with us and continuing to recover, but the reality we are now facing is overwhelming. My mom does not have health insurance, and the medical bills from her hospital stay, treatment, and ongoing care are already piling up quickly.

My mom is one of the most caring and selfless people I know. She has always been the person who shows up for others, helps when someone is struggling, and puts her family first no matter what. Now she’s the one who needs help.
