My mom's car was totaled in an accident and has been sitting in the tow lot while waiting on the insurance claim and police report. The insurance company will not take the car. The fee to get her car out of the lot is over $800 and increases by the day, and there are hospital bills to which we do not know the cost of yet. My parents do not have the money to remove her car from the tow lot or to get it repaired. The vehicle is totaled.

We are taking this day by day, but for now, we just need the car out of the lot so it doesn't continue to accrue fees. We are setting the goal at $2,000 in hopes that we can raise enough to cover the additional fees that accumulate each day.

Having this happen amidst the holidays has been very hard on my parents and siblings. This car was getting them to and from work, which has now become more difficult and comes with stressors beyond money. Any ounce of compassion is vital, so please share this post with anyone you can.
