UPDATE: The tumor they removed would have made her terminal had they not got it...thankful for that. Confirmed she has Lymphoma on her brain and she is to expect a very difficult 6 months ahead of her, every 3 weeks treatment with minimum 4 days admitted each time.
My mother is on her second battle with cancer and is currently recovering from brain surgery after doctors removed a cancerous tumor. She has struggled with her health her entire life, which has made it very difficult for her to maintain steady work or financial stability. She and her husband already fight to keep up with life, while life continues to push down on them, and this surgery has pushed them into an even more difficult place.
Despite everything she’s faced in life, my mother has always been the one who shows up for everyone else. She gives, helps, and supports others even when she can’t afford it and even when she’s hurting. In return, she's asked for very little, and even now, she is depressed because she must rely on others during this time. Now she’s mentally, emotionally, and physically exhausted, and she truly needs help: more than we can give her. She deserves a huge break in life from financial burdens that continue to drag her down and cause severe stress and worry. She deserves to be lifted out of this bottomless hole and to be free of so much distress.
All donations will go toward her medical bills, household expenses, basic needs, and supporting any resources while she focuses on healing.
Any support means more than you know. Please consider donating and sharing across your networks. She is worth it to so many.
