Hi everyone,

I’m starting this GoFundMe for my mom during an incredibly difficult and unexpected time for our family.

She recently had to undergo emergency surgery to remove part of her colon due to a mass that caused a complete blockage. She has now been in the hospital for over a week and will need to stay a bit longer as she continues to recover. Once she’s discharged, she will require home health care and then rehabilitation to regain her strength and independence.

During all of this, my dad has taken time off work to be by her side. He is the only one working in their household, and being away from work for at least two weeks has already created a significant financial strain. Between medical bills, hospital stays, rehab, home health care, and everyday expenses, things are adding up quickly.

My parents are the kind of people who would give the shirt off their backs to help someone else, and asking for help doesn’t come easily to them. Any donation—no matter the amount—will go directly toward easing the financial burden so they can focus on what truly matters right now: my mom’s healing and recovery.
