Support for Molly Upton and her boys

Our beloved longtime Westlake Elementary teacher and friend of the Conejo Valley, Molly Upton, needs your support as she has lost the father of her two teenage sons, Sloan Upton, to a sudden and unexpected passing on Sunday, September 25th.

The Friends of the Uptons are starting this fundraising effort to help Molly cover hospital and funeral costs and immediate expenses to care for her two teenage sons, Shea (19) and Carter (14). Shea is a recent 2021 graduate of Westlake High School, and Carter is just beginning his high school journey as a freshman also at Westlake High School.

Sloan loved watching his boys play any sport, whether on the baseball field, basketball court or football field. He had a vibrant personality and was always chatting it up with parents on the sidelines or in the stands while being one of the biggest fans. You could hear Sloan’s cheering from across the field. He made watching games so much more fun. He loved to bring Shea and Carter to Dodgers and Broncos games and enjoyed spending time watching the games on TV with them.

We hope you can help us raise funds for this family as they navigate through this devastating time and financial hardship.
