Support for Moises' Family in Difficult Times

Moises Castaneda Gonzalez passed to his heavenly home Tuesday, May 7, 2024, in La Vernia, Texas at the age of 19 years. He was born in Zacatecas, Mexico, April 24, 2005.

Moises was a kind and joyful young man who loved church. He was very respectful and helpful to the elderly and always wore a big smile wherever he went. Moises was a proud graduate from La Vernia High School class of 2023.

Moises is survived by and will be forever missed by his parents, Maria Del Rocio Gonzalez and Moises Castaneda; siblings, Sofia Castaneda, Josue Castaneda, Eleazar Castaneda; aunts and uncles, Jaime Gonzalez, Lorenzo Gonzalez, Adela Gonzalez, Guadalupe Castaneda, Alonso Castaneda, Olivia Castaneda, Rocio Castaneda, & Marcela Castaneda, David Mora, Jesus Mora, Hugo Mora, Roberto Mora, Maria Mora;

Maternal grandmother, Maria De Lourdes Valles; paternal grandfather, Moises Castaneda; numerous friends and extended family. He is preceded in death by Jose Lorenzo Gonzalez, Jose Luis Gonzalez; paternal grandmother,
