Hello family and friends,
My younger brother, Mohammad Halabi, has recently been diagnosed with Leukemia. The cancer is aggressive and within the next few days, he will begin his chemotherapy treatment. The shock of his sudden illness has deeply affected our whole family.
Mohammad is a hardworking taxi driver in Beirut, Lebanon. He is a wonderful husband and father to three children—ages four, eight, and twelve. Mohammad will be unable to work for an extended period of time and he is the sole income provider for his family. Although he has partial health insurance, he will be unable to afford the substantial costs of his treatment, tests, and his medications.
As his older brother, I am helping him in every way that I can through this difficult time. Any contributions you can make to help ease Mohammad’s burden will be greatly appreciated.
