12 days ago, we discovered that our beloved 7 year old dog, Mochi, has a malignant cancer, which is known as Hemangiosarcoma (HSA) in dogs, it’s aggressive and fast-spreading where we don’t have many options or time. Over the course of these past few days, we have done everything we possibly can: multiple visits to the vet, lots of bloodwork, x-rays, multiple prescriptions for pain management….

Today, April 22nd, we woke up to our cat Mio in distress and pain, and we ended up rushing him to the emergency vet. Turns out he has a urinary blockage affecting his bladder which can turn serious very quick for male cats. He is was very lethargic. We are having to do additional testing, ultrasound, x-rays, and bloodwork to know if he has sustained any kidney damage due to his inflamed bladder, and we are looking at a heavy bill for his hospitalization and possible operation. They believe if it wasn’t due to his diet then it was stress induced from our his best buddy being sick. This, on top of our dog’s recent diagnosis, has been very difficult for us emotionally and financially as we care for them deeply and will do absolutely anything for them.
