Support for Mochi and Onyx's Tragic Loss

Hello friends and family and possible strangers.
As you may or may not know we currently have experienced such a tragic loss of our two once healthy furbabies Mochi and Onyx from boarding them at The Lodge in New Tampa. An agreement was sent where we immediately declined as this is not about money, this is about liability and honesty.
They were to be boarded August 24th through September 1st. Sadly, that was cut short. We had received no updates except on the 26th where there was 8 photos of them in and out of the hutch and then a text message on the 30th that Mochi had passed away and still nothing about Onyx. We immediately reached out to our emergency contacts to please go get Mochi's body and and Onyx. Onyx was discharged ill where they said he was "fine". Onyx succumbed to his death sadly on the 1st. We were told to Mochi was found upon arrival to the facility which opens at 7AM (we still do not have a time frame from them when he was actually found) where we received a message at 8:47AM and our emergency contact was not contacted until 10:42AM. When the boys were picked up Mochi was in an Amazon box and Onyx with head tilt and ill.
We are absolutely exhausted with having to fight with no taking accountability of our poor boys who were under their roof. We just want to grieve because deep down we know they will continue to brush this off. I am tired of reaching out to them.
We will continue to be their voice because the lack of communication, urgency, and "attempts" of justifications are unacceptable.
If you'd like to help out or even share our story it means a lot to our small family as this was completely unexpected and beyond draining for us. This will help us cover Onyx's ER bill, both cremation services, and Onyx's Necropsy where it was proven he was over fed at the boarding facility.
If you are curious to more about the story I am more than willing to share I'd hate for any family to encounter what we did. Please be super cautious where you board. We never expected this to happen.
Thank you so much for reading.
Rest in peace Mochi and Onyx.
