Mitzi has always been the kind of person who gives freely—her time, her kindness, and her heart. She’s the friend you could call at any hour, the mother who never wavered, and the woman who would help a stranger without hesitation. Now, as she faces Stage 4 cancer, our family is reaching out for help on her behalf.

This diagnosis has brought challenges that no family is ever fully prepared for—emotionally, physically, and financially. The cost of her care has risen significantly, and Mitzi lives off of her retirement and Medicare, which is not enough to cover her growing medical and living expenses. As her treatment progresses and appointments increase, the financial strain has quickly grown beyond what she can manage alone. Our family is doing everything we can, but we need help from our community.
