My very dear sister was diagnosed with an untreatable cancer, and she is not doing so well.

Her name is Mitzi McCain, and you may know her as a friend or coworker, seen her beautiful smile and endless compassion for others. She started with Smart Pain in 2016 as the Director of RCM, transitioned to Director of Precertification, and is presently the Director of Process Improvement. No matter what the role, she worked tirelessly to make it better, not only for the company but for the employees and patients.

Many of you probably did not even know about her diagnosis, but the past few months have been very difficult for her, and there is no one that can fight this more than her.
