My name is Shebbie Ozsirkinti, and I’m reaching out for support as my husband, Mithat, continues to fight for his life. For the past five months, he has battled multiple organ failure caused by end-stage liver and kidney disease. Doctors told us to prepare for the worst, and even now, he is still considered terminal without both a liver and kidney transplant. Yet, against all odds, he has survived. His strength and determination have carried him through life support, intensive care, and months of medical trauma—his ongoing recovery is nothing short of a miracle.
This journey has placed an immense financial burden on our family. Mithat was unable to work before his hospitalization, and I’m now the sole provider for our family, caring for him and our daughters, ages 15 and 11, while trying to keep up with mounting medical bills. The cost of hospital care, our mortgage, and daily living expenses is more than I can manage alone. Our daughters are struggling to accept the situation, and watching their father’s health decline has been heartbreaking. I am doing everything I can to keep going for them, but the stress and sadness are overwhelming.
Mithat has always put others before himself, supporting friends and family in times of need. His kindness and generosity have touched many lives, and now his loved ones are rallying around him, sharing stories of his selflessness and offering their support. More than anything, we hope for a future where Mithat can heal and be home with us again, where our daughters can grow up with their father by their side, and where we can begin to rebuild after this long, painful chapter. Your support would mean more than just financial help—it would be a lifeline, allowing us to focus on healing and reminding us that we are not alone. We are deeply grateful for anyone who stands with us.
