Our family is asking for your prayers, support, and help during the most difficult season of our lives. We are the parents of five amazing children: Hunter (16), Audrey (15), Emma (10), and twins Thomas and Jacob (6). Our journey began at the end of January when my wife, Mistie Heard, suddenly started turning yellow. We soon learned she had jaundice caused by a blockage. After more testing and a biopsy, we received the devastating diagnosis: pancreatic cancer.


Mistie courageously completed eight rounds of chemotherapy, giving her enough strength to undergo what we hoped would be a life-saving Whipple surgery. During the operation, however, the surgeon discovered spots on her liver. Those spots were biopsied and confirmed that the cancer had spread from her pancreas. We were heartbroken to learn that Mistie now has Stage IV metastatic pancreatic cancer. The surgery could not continue as planned, and her fight now continues with more chemotherapy. Pancreatic cancer at this stage is not considered curable, but we are holding tightly to our faith, praying for healing, more time together, and the strength to face each day.


Mistie is an incredible wife and a loving mother who is determined to keep fighting for our family. As we navigate treatments, medical expenses, travel, and time away from work, we are humbly asking for your support.
