Support for Mina, Ereny and Their Children

On Friday June 7, our dear friend Ereny Sedrik was resting soundly at home putting her two children (2 and 4 years old) to bed while her husband Mena Abdo was working late. She smelled smoke and searched all over. She looked out the window to realize their home was completely engulfed in flames. She grabbed her children and rushed out as flames followed them, and they were ripped to safety from the front door by firefighters. Her husband rushed home, emotional and distraught looking for his family. Everything they had was consumed by the fire was damaged by the heavy amount of smoke. They lost all of their belongings. The family is now living in a hotel and living off of food and clothes donated by the few people aware of their situation. Their kids fear nightfall and have nightmares of flames.
