Hello, for those who don’t know my name is Janet and I have a 5 year old kitty named Milk. Over the last several weeks we have been taking milk to multiple doctor’s appointments because she’s developed a swelled and oozing eye. After many appointments and specialists the doctors have determined she could either have an abscess, foreign object, or even possibly cancer in her nasal orbital area. Unfortunately without imaging they cannot be sure or begin to treat her besides generic antibiotics. They are recommending CT imaging of her head which that alone costs $2,500 and doesn’t even include bloodwork or any sort of medicinal or surgical treatments which could easily be another $2,000+. My fiancé and I are simply unable to afford any further medical expenses even with the pet insurance we have for her. If you know milk you know she is the sweetest kindest kitty you’ll ever meet. Even winning over the hearts of those who are not cat people. She is so young and full of life, she doesn’t deserve to be going through this. I know many people may not understand, especially if you are not fond of cats in general, but to me milk is like my child not just a pet. She is my special kitty and I love her with every fiber of my being. If you could please find it in your hearts to donate any amount it would be immensely appreciated.
