On June 8th, 2025, my beloved little brother, Michael Maxon, known to many as Mikey or Mikey Gee, was brutally murdered on Broadway in Baden, Missouri. He was only 22 years old — a young life taken far too soon in a way no family should ever have to experience.

To me, he wasn’t just Mikey. He was my little brother — the calm in any storm, the quiet strength in the room, the one who always stayed cool, calm, and collected. Mikey had a special light that drew people in. The kids adored him. Family and friends loved being around him. He had a heart that gave without expecting anything back.

Earlier this year, we also lost our mother, which devastated our family emotionally and financially. We are still grieving her when this unimaginable tragedy struck. The weight of this second loss — so sudden and violent — has placed an overwhelming financial burden on us.

I am humbly asking for your help so we can give Mikey the respectful, loving farewell he deserves. Any contribution, big or small, will go directly toward funeral and burial expenses. Your support will help ease this burden during the hardest time of our lives.
