Mike Ruocco is a friend I’ve gotten to know over the past year through our covenant group, and someone who has always put others before himself. While I’ve only known Mike for a short time, others in our group have been friends with him for much longer, and all of us have witnessed his kindness and compassion. Mike and his wife, Ellie, have both experienced the challenges of previous marriages, and together they are raising Mike's daughter, Vivian. Their family has faced more than their share of hardship—Mike’s mother is battling congestive heart failure, and his aunt Frannie is also dealing with serious health issues. Most recently, Mike and Ellie welcomed their newborn son, Ezekiel, into the world, bringing both joy and new responsibilities.
This year has been especially difficult for Mike. He recently lost his job, and not long after, he lost his brother to cancer. These back-to-back hardships have placed a tremendous emotional and financial strain on Mike and his family. Our covenant group has talked about how we can come together to support Mike, to remind him that he is not alone, and to help ease some of the burdens he’s carrying.
We are raising funds to support Mike and his family in any way possible as they navigate this challenging season. Whether it’s helping with everyday expenses, medical bills, or simply providing a bit of relief, every contribution will make a difference. We invite you to join us in lifting up Mike’s family during this difficult time. Any support you can give is deeply appreciated, and will go directly to helping a family who has always been there for others.
