Support for Mike Nylund
Late this morning, Mike Nylund, an IBEW lineman here in Anchorage, had an electrical contact while working near O'Malley Road with Northern Powerline Constructors.
Mike was immediately transported to Providence Hospital and has now been sent on to Harborview Medical Center in Washington.
I spoke with Mike at the hospital right before LifeMed picked him up to fly out and he was awake and talkative. Initially it appears he has a left hand entrance wound and burns and possibly lower right knee and exit wound. The extent is unknown at this time.
We will keep brother Nylund in our thoughts and prayers and pass along any information or updates we receive.
