I'm Nekol Tseklenis. Mike Lott was a dear friend and mentor for the last 23 years of my life, and I'm starting this campaign In Loving Memory of Mike Lott to help support his 3 sons, who were the most important thing in the world to him.

Last Christmas, Mike shared words that perfectly captured the kind of person he was:

Never underestimate the quiet, transformative power of encouragement. A kind word, a shared smile, or a simple acknowledgment of someone else’s struggle costs us nothing, but it can literally change the trajectory of a day—or a life. Be generous with your encouragement; it is the most meaningful present you can give.”

That was Mike.

A man who lived with empathy, led with kindness, and gave so much of himself to others.

On March 12, 2026, Mike passed away suddenly from a massive heart attack. Our hearts are broken. It is far too soon for someone so full of life, love, and purpose to leave this world. While we take comfort in knowing he is with Jesus, he is already deeply missed by his family, friends, and everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.

Mike was more than a friend—he was like a brother. He was a mentor, a leader, and one of the most genuinely giving people you could ever meet. Those who worked alongside him describe him as a unique soul with energy and grace—a great boss, a trusted mentor, and above all, a truly good man who would do anything to help someone in need.

Above everything else, Mike was a devoted father.

He is survived by his three sons—Whit, Kirk, and Grant Lott of Hendersonville, Tennessee. For the past 11 years, Mike was their sole parent. He dedicated his life to raising his boys with love, strength, and integrity, ensuring they had everything they needed to grow into honorable young men. Now, they are facing life without their father.

This GoFundMe has been created to support Whit, Kirk, and Grant during this incredibly difficult time. Funds will go toward funeral expenses, legal costs related to Mike’s estate, and ongoing living and medical expenses as they begin to navigate a future without the financial support of their dad.

Our goal is simple:

To lift the financial burden from Mike’s boys so they can focus on healing, grieving, and honoring the life of their beloved father.
