Our friend Mike Black "Big Mike" experienced a tragic house fire early Thursday morning (December 4th). The fire took the life of his mother Gerri Black. He lost his house, all his possessions, and two of his three beloved cats. He is experiencing this terrible hardship only 3 years after losing his father Walter “BeBe” Black, Jr.

Mike doesn't like to accept help, but he has always been someone who shows up for others. Now, it’s our turn to show up for him.

He has a long road ahead of him every donation will go directly toward emergency housing, essentials, and helping Mike begin the long process of rebuilding. If he chooses, he may use this money for funeral expenses.
