Support for Mike and His Loved Ones

Our beloved Mike Yurchuk has always been a fighter and someone who embraces life with strength, bravery, and humor. In May 2024, he began fighting an unimaginable battle. He was diagnosed with Primary CNS Lymphoma, a rare and aggressive brain cancer. For the past 10 months, he has undergone treatment at Memorial Sloan Kettering in New York City, enduring multiple therapies in hopes of overcoming this disease. Throughout it all, he has shown nothing but courage, resilience, and the unwavering love he’s always had for those around him.

Despite every effort, the tumor has remained persistent, and treatments are no longer working. Now, Mike is transitioning to inpatient hospice care, where the focus will be on comfort and quality of life.

Mike is the most loving, caring person and always put others before himself. A devoted father to Morgan, Ben, and Joelle, and a loving fiancé to Kaitlin, he means the world to his family and friends. They are heartbroken but are finding solace in knowing that Mike has always been someone to embrace the next adventure.
