My sister Michelle is in need of urgent help to replace her septic drain field and remain in her home.

After a difficult divorce and managing a mortgage with two young boys to raise, she has handled all her financial struggles on her own, doing everything she can to keep her home. The same home she has now been told has a completely failed septic system.

She is now out of options. She has applied for all federal and state aid programs and contacted community outreach programs without success.

Michelle is someone who has worked since she’s been 14 years old, oftentimes multiple jobs to support her family. She is an animal lover by nature and is always saving God’s creatures on the side of the road.

If she can’t get her septic replaced by November, we will be in winter here in Michigan, and her house will be considered condemned and she will need to move her family and likely re-home her beloved pets, causing further heartbreak.

I know times are hard for everyone, and this would never be just an ask, it is a true NEED. If you can spare anything to help, we are more than grateful. If you can’t, prayers for a resolved situation are just as much appreciated.
