Update as of 1/21/26: My mother has passed. Unfortunately, this means that my father and brother will lose my mother's income. We are still trying to collect funds to assist with the overall cremation and memorial service, in addition to aid in keeping my family above water while they attempt to navigate survival after this severe loss. Anything helps.

In anticipation of my mother's passing in the coming hours/days/weeks, I am making preparations for her cremation services and accompanying financial burden. Unfortunately, my family is not equipped to cover these costs and we are in need of any assistance we can get.

My mother, Michelle Fairbanks, has been enduring spinal cancer for over 5 years now, slowly becoming weaker and weaker. Recent events have unfortunately landed her at a hospice facility, where she is no longer eating/drinking and is unresponsive. As painful as this is for my family, we want to ensure that she transitions comfortably and that we are prepared for the next steps.
