Support for Michelle and her baby

Family & friends of Michelle and Dale,

 
As many of you know, Michelle has been carrying baby Dalemar for the past 37 weeks. Michelle was rushed in for an emergency c-section. She suffered a placental abruption. This is a sometimes unexplainable event that unfortunately tends to happen later in pregnancy. Michelle lost a lot of blood and has a long road of recovery ahead, but she is doing ok. Baby Dalemar Johny Quest entered the earth around 7:30am weighing a healthy 6lbs 9ounces. Unfortunately, he did not have a heartbeat. The doctors at MDI hospital fought hard and performed compressions on Dalemar for almost an hour before his heartbeat returned. This tiny baby has been a fighter from the moment he entered our world. Due to the amount of time Dalemar's brain was without oxygen, he suffered global brain trauma. The doctors believe this is unrecoverable. He is currently on support and Michelle and family in Maine are spending as much time with him as they can. 
 
At this time Michelle and Dale ask for prayers and also space to process.

 It is going to be a long road ahead but Michelle, Dale, Leana, and baby Dalemar are going to recover as a family please send us all hope, love, and positive vibes at this time.

Beyond that, we are putting together a fundraiser to help assist them financially at this time. While no amount of money will diminish the emotional trauma they are going through, I hope that some financial assistance will at least alleviate other stressors in their life right now. If you can contribute anything, it would be greatly appreciated.
