Michael, known to many as Mike, Dad, Uncle Michael, or even the Best Looking Brother, is currently facing a serious health challenge. He is in the hospital and will soon need a a heart transplant, which must be performed at a specialized hospital on the other side of Florida from where they live. This sudden development has been overwhelming for Michael, his wife Sheryl, and the entire family. Sheryl will need to travel with Michael and remain by his side throughout his treatment and recovery, which will last several months.

While the medical procedure itself is critical, the additional costs that come with it are also significant. Travel, lodging, and daily meals for Sheryl (and Michael post-transplant) are not covered by insurance, and these expenses will add up quickly.
