My son, Michael Owens, just turned 25 in July and is days away from going to be with our lord in heaven. On April 14, 2025, Michael was diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer. The news was devastating, and since then, the cancer has spread through his intestines. Despite the doctors’ best efforts, they have told us there is nothing more they can do for him in the hospital. Michael has been there for over two weeks, and now he is being moved home so we can focus on making him as comfortable as possible.

Michael is an amazing young man with a big heart. He always knows how to make people laugh, and his dream was to become a YouTuber. When you’re around him, it’s impossible not to smile. Michael is deeply loved by me, his dad, his big brother, and big sister. He is also cherished by his grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins. As a family, we are preparing to bring him home in the next week or two, where we will continue comfort care surrounded by love.

We are raising funds to help cover Michael’s hospital bill's, as well as funeral arrangements when the time comes. He has never had anything and I want to be able to give him a nice send off.This is an incredibly difficult time for our family, and we are asking for your help and prayers for Michael.
