My husband, Michael Wasilowski, has always been a fighter. Years ago, he bravely battled cancer and overcame it, giving our family hope and strength. Sadly, he is now facing an aggressive cancer that has taken so much from him. He is currently in the ICU, and the doctors have told us that he only has days or hours left. This has all happened so quickly, and I haven’t had enough time or resources to prepare for what comes next.
Michael’s wish is to be cremated, but I am struggling to gather the funds to honor that wish. The costs of his hospitalization and the suddenness of his decline have left us with mounting bills and very little time. I want to give Michael the dignity and peace he deserves, but I can’t do it alone.
All the support from this fundraiser will go directly toward Michael’s cremation services and help cover the medical bills from his time in the hospital. I appreciate any help that family, friends, and the community can offer. Your kindness will mean the world to me and to Michael’s two children, who will be missing their father. Any efforts, no matter how small, are deeply appreciated during this incredibly difficult time.
