Support for Michael Southall's Family

I am writing this on behalf of my mother, Michelle Southall.

We sadly have to share the heartbreaking news that Michael “Mikey” Southall passed away on September 14, 2024. Mikey was a loving, kind, compassionate, and selfless person who brought so much love and support to our lives. He gave my mom a beautiful, loving 17 years of marriage, and for us kids, he gave us a father figure who stayed and supported us.

He cared for all of us unconditionally, but Mikey was struggling with his own battles, and unfortunately, he took his own life. The sudden loss of Mikey has left us completely devastated, and we are just beginning to process our grief.

This tragic event does not define him. We hope he can be remembered as a loving, kind, compassionate, caring, selfless person.

Losing a loved one is never easy, and this was very unexpected. Mikey took care of all of us, my mother and us kids. His death is going to shake our world in many ways, and we will do our best to navigate this difficult time as we go.
