Tragedy has struck our contracting world yet again, only this time it was sudden and senseless. One of our own was struck down in a violent crime that has shocked and stunned those of us that knew him.

Michael "Doc Ryan" Burke was an excellent human being. His moral compass was always pointed in the right direction and he walked the walk. Those of us that knew him, worked with him, and worshipped with him knew that he was created to spread good and light anywhere he went. His smile and easy going nature set him apart and people were instantly at ease when around him. A Veteran Marine, a contractor medic, and a true humanitarian with many charities that he backed, along with his aid work around the world. Michael's life was tragically cut short when he fell victim to a senseless and tragic crime. He was a good man, truly, and this world lost a shining star.

In an effort to try and help the family in any way we can I am starting this to help raise some money for his funeral expenses, and follow on funding to help the family with this sudden loss. If you knew Doc Ryan you know that he had a lot of love to give the world and any amount will be welcome to aid in this tragic time.
