Hi, my name is Michael Mann, and I am asking for help during the most difficult time of my life. I was recently diagnosed with metastatic non-small cell lung cancer that has spread to my spine. Before I could begin chemotherapy and radiation treatments, my doctors required cardiology clearance due to my underlying heart failure and a known 95% blockage in my right coronary artery. Because of this, I had to undergo a stent placement on December 19, 2025 before cancer treatment could begin. While I was recovering well from that procedure, just two weeks later the cancer in my spine caused a devastating spinal fracture. Because of the recent heart stent and the blood thinners I must remain on for the next 6–12 months, my cardiologist and two neurosurgeons have advised against surgery to repair the fracture. The compression on my spinal cord has left me unable to walk, dramatically changing my daily life and independence.

I now require 24/7 home caregiving support, which unfortunately is not covered by insurance. Between mounting hospital bills, ongoing medical treatments, daily medical supplies, and the cost of around-the-clock care, the financial burden has become overwhelming. I am currently unable to work and need help covering these essential expenses.

As I continue to fight this battle, I hold onto my faith and remind myself that God gives the strongest challenges to His strongest soldiers.
