Michael Kammer was like a nephew to me. I have known his grandparents and dad for over 30 years, and Michael was a beloved part of our community. On February 17, 2026, Michael was working on a well just a half mile from his family home when he was overcome by hazardous chemicals. This tragic accident claimed the lives of Michael and two other young people. Michael was only 21 years old, and his loss has left a deep hole in the hearts of his family and friends.
Mikey was a great kid who loved his family, hunting, and his coon dogs. He was always ready to lend a hand and brought joy to everyone around him. He got up to go to work, never expecting that he would not return home. This freak environmental accident has shaken our community, and his family is now facing the unexpected burden of funeral expenses and memorial costs.
We are asking for help to lay Michael to rest and support his family as they try to carry on without him. Any contribution, no matter the size, will be greatly appreciated. Thank you for your love, prayers, and support during this difficult time. Fly High Mikey.
