My stepdad, Michael J Favreau, was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend. Born on December 10, 1954, Michael touched countless lives through his music as a singer and lead guitarist in the RockyKnoll Countrymen Band and Knightriderz band. He was known throughout the Tri-State area for his talent, warmth, and the joy he brought to every performance. Michael was the proud father of five children, three stepchildren, eleven grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren. His love for his family and his community was evident in everything he did, and his legacy will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
Recently, Michael lost his battle to cancer and passed away at home, surrounded by loved ones. My mom is now left to face the overwhelming task of figuring out how to pay for rent and utilities on her own. The loss has been devastating, and the financial challenges only add to the weight she is carrying as she tries to navigate life without him.
I am reaching out to friends, family, and anyone who knew Michael or has been touched by his story. Any support, no matter how small, would mean the world to us as we try to honor Michael’s memory and help my mom find stability. Your kindness and generosity will help ease her burden during this difficult time, and we are deeply grateful for any help you can offer.
