What started as a simple illness turned into a severe viral infection, and then a deadly fungus began to grow in his bloodstream and lungs, eventually reaching his brain. Despite ongoing treatment, new viruses continue to develop, and Michael is now facing severe lung failure. He is currently on a breathing machine, and his medical team is working tirelessly to find answers, with more tests scheduled in the coming days.

Michael has been out of work for eight weeks, and the financial strain is becoming overwhelming. He has exhausted his paid leave, and disability payments have been slow to arrive. As a result, Michael is struggling to keep up with mounting medical bills, house and auto payments, and regular household expenses. He is also facing new insurance premiums due to his extended absence from work. Through all of this, Michael has remained strong and hopeful, but he needs our help now more than ever.
