Local 86 Ironworker Michael Calabrese and Family

Donation protected
Michael Calabrese is a Local 86 Ironworker who was injured on the job on April 12th, 2021. He suffered a broken back, among other injuries. Due to the extent of his injuries, he will be unable to work for at least several months. After surgery it has been determined that he will not be paralyzed, and the hope is to have him home from the hospital next week. Once home, Michael will still face a long journey of healing, and his family will need our support.

Michael joined Local 86 on February 5th, 2013, and has been on the iron in the Seattle area ever since. He recently married his lovely wife Meisha, and together they have an 8 year old daughter, Enslie. Let’s come together to ease the financial burden so that this family can focus on healing instead of the anxiety that comes from medical bills, time away from work, and serious injury.
