Support for Michael Bozick

This fundraiser is to support Michael with his medical expenses.

 

On April 8, 2022 Michael was diagnosed with Fibrolamellar Hepatocellular Carcinoma a very rare liver cancer. This cancer primarily is found in 1 in 5 million adolescents to young adults. Michael underwent liver resection surgery on April 21, 2022 in which 3/4 of his liver was removed. The surgery was successful in removing the entirety of the malignant tumor. However, he will need to continue to undergo CT scan surveillance in order to ensure there is no further spread. Unfortunately due to the severity of the surgery, Michael had to take 5 weeks off of work. Although, he has been placed on paid leave, he is only receiving a fraction of his wages.
