Our mother was the greatest woman we have ever known. She raised Tyler and Devin as a single mother, all while continuing her education and graduating. And soon later our father Michael and his son Jacob, we built a loving family, and some of the best times of our lives were spent enjoying the simplicity of life together. She cared deeply for others and always wanted to help, which led her to become the director of a rape and trauma center, supporting anyone in need. Her heart was enormous, and she would help anyone if she could.
When COVID hit, our mother faced incredible challenges. She pushed through hours of therapy, multiple injuries, and several moves, giving us five more precious years with her. She knew her time was limited but never wanted to burden anyone, shielding her pain from the family and always putting others first. Her strength and love were unwavering, even in the hardest moments.
Now, as we navigate her loss, we want to honor her legacy and the community that loved her. The funds raised will help Michael Bowie and our family cover funeral expenses and any unforeseen costs, allowing Michael to focus on healing without worrying about finances.
